From France to international cities

France has a vast railway network with more than 4,700 stations and many TGV's. Taking regional trains will make you discover the French countryside from your train seat. France is known as being the number one travel destination in the world.

The national rail operator is the SNCF.

Paris - London

By taking the Eurostar you can arrive from Paris Nord Eurostar to London St. Pancras International in only 2 hours 26.

Paris - Amsterdam

The Thalys will take you in 3 hours 19 from Paris-Nord to Amsterdam Centraal.

Nice - Barcelona

They are two main options to travel from Nice to Barcelona. You can take an InOui TGV from Nice Ville to Valence TGV for less than 4 hours and then change to the InOui TGV Barcelona Sants for 4 hours. You can also take the TER from Nice Ville to Marseille St-Charles (3 hours) change to the IC to Montpellier Sud de France (1h20) and then take the TGV from Montpellier St-Roch to Barcelona Sants (2h50).

Nice - Milan

In order to travel from Nice to Milan, you only need to take the Trenitalia Eurocity from Nice Ville to Milano Centrale. The travel last 4h49.

Traveling to France

France is known for its romantic capital Paris however there are plenty of other places to visit that you can reach by train. 

  • Explore French most known palace and its garden, Palace of Versailles, that you can reach by taking the train to the stop Versailles Chantiers.
  • Discover French small island Mont St Michel, to arrive there you will need to take the train to Rennes and from there you will have to take a shuttle bus to Mont St Michel.
  • In Epernay you can taste the French cuisine and champagne, just take the train to the Epernay station (1h12 from Paris Est station).
