Traveling to Italy
Italian's railway runs in the entire country and is operated by Trenitalia. Seat reservation is required for high-speed trains (called Frecce) and night trains and we advise you to reserve your seat on InterCity trains (IC) especially from May to September.
If you are in Rome and going up North, we recommend hopping out the train in Viterbo. This cute city will make feel as if you made a step back in Ancient Italy. More information here.
