During spring and summer 2018, 4 duos of travellers embarked on a journey across the continent and explored a variety of projects and initiatives enabled by the EU.Luisa and Louis, Yldau and Fabian, Susann and Kenneth, Luna and Achilleas were the first ever Road Trip Project travellers, selected among 2000 applicants.
Their experience brought them to 24 European countries along 4 successive routes: the Mediterranean (the route of the roots), the Atlantic (the route of great explorers), the Danube, (the route of great nature and shared resources), and the Baltic Route (a route through time and space).
Season 2 features 2 teams of 4 young travellers embarking on a lifetime adventure across Europe. Each team is made up of a video maker, a copywriter, a photographer and a presenter. They’ll cross 17 countries and dozens of regions, meeting and living like the locals!
They got to see what European regions have to offer up close: from dancing at a sustainable electric music festival to hitting the stage at an opera house; from inspiring us in Europe’s first 100% carbon-free island to getting lost in a rock labyrinth; and from stargazing to helping make French cheese.
